cccOur Privacy Policy

Onagon Interactive Inc. is committed to protecting your privacy. Please read this Statement of Privacy. We consider your privacy of utmost importance, and guarantee that:

  • we do not make any client data available to third parties;
  • we do not share data among clients;
  • we do not sell client lists; and
  • while our site contains third party advisor and advertising, we do not distribute advertising or promotional material to our clients on behalf of third parties.

This site is intended for entrepreneurs who wish to assess the viability of their business plans. This site is not for children. We do not collect information from them, nor do we offer products or services that might be of interest to them.

We distribute material only to those who have opted to receive e-mail from us on a periodic basis. You may always opt out of receiving future mailings by selecting the opt-out link in our email or have the contact information updated by returning to your account on the PowerplanPro.com system. Financial information is required for the sole purpose of billing you for the service that you choose to use.

Your financial and business planning information is part of your own file and nobody has access to that information except you, and us insofar as we may be requested or required to access your data to assist you in the use of our system.

Visitor information is not disclosed to anyone except Onagon staff who need the information to respond to a request.

Onagon does not automatically gather any personal information from you, such as your name, phone number, E-mail or street address during your visit to its Web sites. This information is only obtained if you supply it voluntarily, usually through contacting us via E-mail, feedback forms or by using the PowerplanPro.com planning system.

Onagon collects certain information about your computer hardware and software. This information may include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring Web site addresses. This information is used by Onagon for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of this site.

Onagon keeps track of the pages our customers visit within this site, in order to determine what services are the most popular.

Onagon encourages you to review the privacy statements of websites you choose to link to from PowerplanPro.com so that you can understand how those websites collect, use and share your information. Onagon is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on these outside websites.

Onagon may access and/or disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Onagon or this site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Onagon, or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Onagon, its website, or the public.

Personal information collected on this site may be stored and processed in Canada or any other country, and by using this site, you consent to any such transfer of information outside of your country.

Onagon is committed to protecting the security of your personal information. We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. For example, we store the personal information you provide on computer systems with limited access, that are located in controlled facilities. When we transmit highly confidential information (such as a credit card number) over the Internet, we protect it through the use of encryption, and take other reasonable steps to ensure the privacy and integrity of this information.

Use of Cookies

We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to manage our Web site. We use cookies to monitor your session on our site only. Onagon uses "cookies" to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.

One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. For example, a cookie helps Onagon to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. This simplifies your access to the PowerplanPro.com planner, the process of recording your personal information, such as billing addresses, shipping addresses, and so on. When you return to Onagon, the information you previously provided can be retrieved, so you can easily use the PowerplanPro.com planner data that has been previously entered by you.

You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the this site and its services or other Web sites you visit.

Onagon web pages may also contain electronic images known as Web beacons - sometimes called single-pixel gifs - that allow Onagon to count users who have visited those pages. Onagon may include web beacons in promotional e-mail messages or newsletters in order to count how many messages have been opened and acted upon. Web beacons are not used to access your personal information on the PowerplanPro.com sites and services; they are a technique we use to compile aggregated statistics about usage of this site.

Web beacons collect only a limited set of information including a cookie number, time and date of a page view, and a description of the page on which the Web beacon resides. Onagon Web pages may also contain Web beacons placed there by our advertising partners to help determine the effectiveness of our Internet advertising campaigns.

Use of Third Party Ad Networks

Onagon may allow other companies, called third-party ad servers or ad networks, to display advertisements on our Web pages. Some of these ad networks may place a persistent cookie on your computer. Doing this allows the ad network to recognize your computer each time they send you an online advertisement. In this way, ad networks may compile information about where you, or others who are using your computer, saw their advertisements and determine which ads are clicked on. This information allows an ad network to deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. Onagon does not have access to or control of the cookies that may be placed by the third-party ad servers or ad networks. Advertisers require information regarding ad impressions and click-through rates, and by providing them with this information, we are able to keep our site FREE to our visitors.

Changes to this Statement

Onagon may occasionally update this Statement of Privacy to reflect company and customer feedback. When we posts changes to this Statement, you will see the word "updated" next to the Privacy Statement link on the front page. If there are material changes to this Statement or in how Onagon will use your personal information, Onagon will prominently post such changes prior to implementing the change. We encourage you to periodically review this Statement to be informed of how Onagon is protecting your information.
